Overview
Skaginn IQF freezers are ideal for freezing products where yield, quality and shape are a concern. The SF1/CF2 has two Core-Freezing conveyors and can therefore handle thicker products than the SF1/CF1 at the same capacity.

Belt Setup
TCAD Belt
The SF1/CF1 can be equipped with an optional patented Teflon Coated Aluminum Droplet (TCAD) belt that speeds up the shape-freezing process resulting in up to 33% increased capacity. The faster shape freezing also minimizes product cell damage, locks in the product's moisture and lowers yield loss during freezing (as low as 0.2%).
Overnight Storage
Due to a a set of systems the freezer can be run for a week without complete defrosting. At the end of the day the freezer can be set into overnight storage mode keeping product still left on its conveyors safely frozen. This eliminates numerous costs such as working hours spent cleaningm starting up and powering down freezers, cost of cleaning materials, energy and working hours required for daily freezer startup.
